When skin feels tight and dull after 40, piling on a heavier cream often just sits on top and feels greasy. What helps more is layering: light, watery steps first, then richer ones to hold the moisture in.

This 6-step routine does exactly that with the ICD Dermatology range and a botalab body cream. It takes about six minutes, morning or night.

The ICD Dermatology range is built around Giant BYoungPool™, RIMAN's signature ingredient: an anti-inflammatory centella asiatica variety RIMAN grows itself and has protected with plant variety rights in Korea and the United States.

Giant BYoungPool™ centella: deep hydration, brightening, smooths fine lines, repairs skin

The routine at a glance

Step Product Its job
1 Dermatology Booster Wets the skin so the next layers spread easily
2 Dermatology Serum The concentrated treatment step
3 Dermatology Booster (again) A second mist over the serum, which RIMAN calls "activating" it
4 Dermatology Cream Adds richer moisture
5 Two Phase Oil Mist A light oil layer to seal everything in
6 botalab Suamel Nourishing Body Cream Carries the care down to neck, hands and body

The rule behind the order: thinnest to thickest, water before oil.

Step by step

Start on clean skin. Our 3-step cleanse is on Instagram at @simplebeautyclub.sg.

1. Mist the Dermatology Booster

Hold the bottle about a hand's length away and mist your face and neck. Don't rub it in. Let it settle for a few seconds: the fine mist helps open cellular micro-channels, so the layers that follow absorb better.

2. Massage in the Dermatology Serum

While your skin is still damp, put a small amount of serum on your fingertips. Smooth it over cheeks, forehead and chin with gentle upward strokes. Damp skin helps it glide without tugging. This is the step that supports cellular longevity and plumps fine lines.

3. Mist the Booster again

Mist once more over the serum. In RIMAN's routine video this step "activates" the serum. In practice it makes the serum spread more evenly and feel less tacky. If this booster-serum-booster order is new to you, our Boo-Se-Boo guide explains it.

4. Press in the Dermatology Cream

Warm a small scoop between your fingertips, then press it onto face and neck instead of rubbing. Pressing is kinder to thinner, more delicate skin.

5. Seal with the Two Phase Oil Mist

Shake the bottle until the two layers mix, then mist from arm's length. This light oil layer helps hold in the moisture from the steps before and gives a soft glow.

6. Finish with botalab Suamel body cream

Neck, chest and the backs of the hands show dryness just as much as the face. Smooth the body cream over them, plus any dry spots like elbows.

Tips that make the difference

  • Work on damp skin. Each layer goes on while the one before is still slightly wet. That's why the whole routine fits into six minutes.
  • Less is more. A small amount of each product, pressed in, works better than a thick layer that sits on top.
  • Morning or night. It works for both. In the morning, finish your face with sunscreen after step 5.
  • Busy day? Keep steps 1, 2 and 4. Add the rest when you have time.
  • Try it first. If your skin is sensitive, test a new product on a small patch of skin for a few days before using it all over.

Common questions

Do I need all six steps? No. The core is Booster, Serum and Cream. The second Booster mist, the Oil Mist and the body cream are extras for days when your skin feels especially dry.

Why use the Booster twice? The first mist dampens the skin for the serum. The second goes over the serum to help it spread evenly before the cream.

Is this routine only for dry skin? It suits skin that feels tight or dull. If your skin gets oily, use less cream and skip the Oil Mist in the morning.

Where do I buy the products? All of them are on RIMAN's official online store, where customer sign-up is free. Use the shop button on this page, or try the Routine Finder if you're not sure where to start.
