If you used INCELLDERM a few years ago and now can't find it, don't worry. It hasn't disappeared. It has a new name: ICD.
RIMAN describes ICD as its flagship skincare brand, formerly INCELLDERM. Same company, same Jeju roots, new name and a refreshed look. This guide explains what's different, what isn't, and how to pick up your routine again without getting confused.
The short answer
INCELLDERM and ICD are the same skincare line from the same company. RIMAN renamed the line ICD and refreshed the range. If you loved INCELLDERM, ICD is where you'll find it now.
So when a friend says "I use INCELLDERM" and another says "I use ICD", they're talking about the same family of products.
What changed
1. The name. The biggest change is the one on the bottle. Products that used to carry the INCELLDERM name now carry ICD.
2. The look. The packaging was redesigned. RIMAN says the ICD Dermatology line (the Booster, Serum and Cream) won an iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 for packaging design. According to RIMAN, the soft "Greenish Ivory" colour is inspired by Lava BYoungPool Water™, and the textured cap is inspired by Jeju's volcanic basalt. So if you're looking for the old bottles on your shelf, the new ones will look quite different.
3. Finding your old favourites. Because the line has been refreshed, the bottle you remember may not look or read quite the same today. The ICD routine now includes the Moisture Cleansing Oil, Cleansing Powder Wash, Calming Balance Gel, Two Phase Oil Mist and Dermatology Cream. If you remember an INCELLDERM product and can't spot it, send me a message and I'll find the ICD version for you.
4. New additions. The range keeps growing. The Balancing Gel Cleanser, for example, is a newer daily cleanser that RIMAN describes as low-irritation and pH 5.5. There's also the Radiansome™ 100 range for people who want to add an extra brightening step.
What stayed the same
1. The star ingredient. RIMAN says Giant BYoungPool™ is the main ingredient in ICD. It's RIMAN's own variety of centella asiatica (often called cica). RIMAN says it has larger leaves and higher concentrations of active compounds than regular centella, and that it's grown at RIMAN's Smart Farm on Jeju Island, which it calls the world's first Smart Farm for centella asiatica.
2. The Jeju story. Jeju Island is still at the heart of the brand. RIMAN pairs Giant BYoungPool™ with Lava BYoungPool Water™, which it links to Jeju's volcanic landscape.
3. The core of the routine. The Dermatology Booster, Dermatology Serum and Dermatology Cream are still the heart of the line. If you were used to layering a booster, serum and cream, nothing about that habit needs to change. Many people still use the Boo-Se-Boo method: booster, serum, booster, then cream.
4. The simple steps. Cleanse, prep, treat, moisturise. The order of a good routine hasn't changed, only the labels.
Switching from INCELLDERM to ICD: a simple plan
You don't need to throw anything out or start again. Here's an easy way to move across.
- Finish what you have. If you still have INCELLDERM products at home and they're within their expiry date, use them up first. Check the date and the period-after-opening symbol (the little open jar with a number like "12M").
- Replace one product at a time. When something runs out, replace it with its ICD version. Going one by one makes it easier to notice how your skin feels with each product.
- Keep the same order. Use your new ICD products in the same order you used your old ones.
- Patch-test anything new. If a product is completely new to you, like the Balancing Gel Cleanser, try a little on a small area first, especially if your skin is sensitive.
- Buy from a trusted source. You may still see old INCELLDERM stock on marketplaces. Buying from RIMAN's official online store means you're getting current ICD products.
A note for Singapore skin
Our heat and humidity mean many people prefer lighter layers. With ICD, that usually means thin layers of booster, a little less cream in the morning, and always sunscreen at the end of your morning routine. In air-conditioned offices, skin can feel drier by the afternoon, so a quick spritz of the Two Phase Oil Mist can help it feel more comfortable.
Common questions
Is ICD the same as INCELLDERM? Yes. RIMAN describes ICD as its flagship skincare brand, formerly INCELLDERM. It's the same line under a new name, with a refreshed look and range.
Can I still buy INCELLDERM in Singapore? The line is now sold as ICD. You can find it on RIMAN's online store, where customer sign-up is free, or message me and I'll help you find what you need.
Are the formulas exactly the same? Some products may have been updated as part of the refresh, so it's best not to assume. If you want to compare a specific product, check the ingredient list on the box or ask me and I'll look it up.
I loved one INCELLDERM product. What's it called now? Message me with the old name (a photo of the old bottle helps) and I'll tell you its ICD name.
Does the Boo-Se-Boo method still work with ICD? Yes. It uses the ICD Dermatology Booster, Serum and Cream, so you can carry on layering the way you're used to.
